At EIRMC, we provide a comprehensive and individualized nursing orientation to assure that every nurse has a strong foundation.

We understand that nursing education doesn’t end with orientation. The Department of Education provides regular, ongoing classes throughout the year to help our nurses develop professionally, maintain and enhance their skills, and stay abreast of the latest changes in nursing care.

Our education is provided by nurses for nurses, but offerings also include lectures and classes by Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, and others.

As well, opportunities are extended to nurses to gain education outside hospital walls through:

• Tuition reimbursement
• Participation in national, regional, and local conferences
• Professional Bonus Program – Revised July 2011
• Technical Bonus Program Revised July 2011
